EASTBRIA CO., LTD. (the "Company," "we," "us," or "our") establishes this Privacy Policy (the "Policy") regarding the handling of user information in "Find Eats" (the "Service") provided by the Company.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information to the extent necessary to provide the Service.

1.1 Information Entered or Provided by Users

1. Search conditions
   • Area, meal time, date, budget, atmosphere, cuisine genre, restaurant style, free-text preferences, and related conditions
2. Account-related information
   • Authentication provider type, such as Apple, Google, or email
   • User identifiers issued by authentication providers
   • Email address, display name, and other information provided by authentication providers, if provided
3. Inquiry information
   • Email address, inquiry details, response history from the Company, and related information

1.2 Information Collected Through Use of the Service

1. Usage history
   • Search date and time, number of searches, search results, browsing history, share link creation history, review prompt display events, and related information
2. Billing and subscription-related information
   • Purchase source store, product ID, plan, billing status, expiration date, renewal status, and information related to purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and billing issues
   • Apple manages Apple ID payment information itself, and the Company does not collect it.
3. Technical information
   • IP address, request date and time, app version, OS, device type, language settings, error information, crash logs, diagnostic information, communication logs, and related information
4. Location-related information
   • Area information entered by the user
   • Current location or location information if the user permits it on the device

1.3 Information Obtained from Third-Party Services

We may obtain necessary information from third-party services for authentication, payments, restaurant information, maps, AI generation, error monitoring, and related purposes.

2. Purposes of Use

We use collected information for the following purposes:

1. To provide, maintain, protect, and improve the Service
2. To search, recommend, summarize, display, and save history for restaurant candidates
3. To manage account registration, login, identity verification, and authentication status
4. To determine free usage allowances, paid plans, search counts, and usage permissions
5. To confirm subscription purchase status, restoration, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and billing issues
6. To respond to inquiries, verify identity, and send important notices
7. To detect, prevent, and investigate misuse, violations of terms, and security issues
8. To investigate failures, analyze errors, improve quality, and analyze usage
9. To determine whether to display review requests
10. To respond to laws, guidelines, requests from administrative agencies, or court orders

3. Use of Third-Party Services

We may use the following third-party services to provide the Service. Information sent to each service is limited to the extent necessary to achieve the relevant purpose.

In addition to the above, we may use cloud, email, monitoring, analytics, support, and related services necessary to operate the Service.

4. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not provide users' personal information to third parties except in the following cases:

1. When the user has consented
2. When handling is entrusted to contractors or third-party services to the extent necessary to provide the Service
3. When required by law
4. When necessary to protect human life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the user's consent
5. When especially necessary to improve public health or promote the sound growth of children and it is difficult to obtain the user's consent
6. When cooperation with a national government agency, local public entity, or an entrusted party is necessary and obtaining consent may hinder the performance of the relevant duties
7. When information is provided to a successor to the extent necessary due to business transfer, merger, company split, or other organizational restructuring

5. Joint Use

At this time, we do not plan to jointly use personal information. If joint use is conducted, we will disclose the items of information jointly used, the scope of joint users, purposes of use, responsible party, and other matters in accordance with applicable laws.

6. International Transfers

In providing the Service, we may use cloud services, authentication services, payment-related services, AI services, error monitoring services, and related services located outside Japan. In such cases, user information may be processed or stored on servers outside Japan.

We confirm the safety management measures, contractual terms, privacy policies, and related information of contractors or third-party services and handle user information within a necessary and appropriate scope.

The main countries where services used by the Company are located include the United States for Firebase, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Sentry, and Cloudflare. Please refer to the official information of each service for its privacy policy and safety management measures.

7. Retention Period

We retain user information for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of use. Retention periods are determined by considering the type of information, purpose of use, legal retention obligations, prevention of misuse, dispute handling, accounting and tax needs, and related factors.

Our main retention policy is as follows:

1. Account information: During the period the account is active and for up to 3 years after withdrawal
2. Search history and search results: Up to 18 months from the last use date or creation date
3. Billing-related information: Up to 7 years from the last transaction date or for the period required by law
4. Inquiry information: Up to 3 years from completion of response
5. Logs and diagnostic information: Up to 12 months from collection

Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, if there is a legal retention obligation, need for misuse prevention, dispute handling, security response, billing management, or other legitimate reason, we may extend the retention period to the extent necessary.

8. User Rights

Users may request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, suspension of third-party provision, and other handling of their own personal information held by the Company in accordance with applicable laws.

Users may request account deletion from the settings screen in the app. For other requests such as disclosure, correction, or suspension of use, please contact the inquiry desk specified in Section 14. We will verify the user's identity and respond within a reasonable scope in accordance with applicable laws.

However, we may retain certain information for the necessary period due to legal retention obligations, misuse prevention, dispute handling, billing management, and related reasons.

9. Location Information and Device Permissions

1. The Service uses device location information only when the user permits it.
2. Users may change location permission settings at any time through their device settings or app settings.
3. Even if location permission is not granted, some features of the Service may be available by manually entering an area.

10. Cookies, Advertising Identifiers, and Tracking

At this time, the Service does not plan to use tracking primarily for third-party advertising delivery.

If we use advertising identifiers, cookies, similar technologies, or technologies that require consent under App Tracking Transparency in the future, we will provide necessary notices, obtain consent, and offer setting change methods in accordance with laws and platform rules.

11. Security Measures

We implement necessary and appropriate security measures to prevent leakage, loss, damage, unauthorized access, and misuse of user information, including access control, authentication, communication protection, log monitoring, permission management, contractor management, and related measures.

However, due to the nature of internet communications and information systems, we do not guarantee complete security.

12. Use by Minors

Minors may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may change this Policy as necessary. If we make important changes, we will notify users by posting in the Service, on our website, or by another appropriate method.

Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the changed Policy becomes effective when posted in the Service or on our website.
